More Music, on it’s way
Over the last month or so, I’ve been working on a new videosong. I’ve got most of the instrumentation finished and I was about to start recording vocals when it dawned on me that it was November.
I’ve always toyed with the idea of making a Christmas album, so I decided that at least making a Christmas song would be a good start. I decided to hit pause on the current song, and start recording my own version of a Christmas classic. Within an hour, I had a simple arrangement, and bass, keys and drums tracked (this is an insane pace for me, as I usually have to work around life, and the recording process is very slow.)
I’m going to try to get the rest of the instruments and vocals finished up next week and get the video edited so that I can have the song/video available before December, so keep an eye out for that. Who knows, if it goes fast enough, maybe I’ll do more Christmas songs before returning to the other song in progress.
I’d also like to point out some stuff that’s been inspiring me lately, in case you’re looking for something to chew on.
